How to Use Our Betting Odds Calculator
Whether you’re betting on esports, football, or basketball, our sports betting calculator helps you figure out your payout.
You can use it as a simple payout calculator for single bets or a parlay calculator when combining multiple selections. We’ll explain how to do this for both types below.
Single Bet Calculator
Calculating returns on a single bet is easy. Just follow these steps:
- Set the bet type to Single Bet.
- Add your stake in the Bet Amount field.
- Enter the odds in any format — American, Decimal, or Fractional.
The tool will fill in the other odds formats, and show the Implied Odds as a percentage, your profit (in the To Win box), and your total Payout. To start over, hit the Reset button.
Example: Single Bet Payout
Say you’re betting $100 on the San Francisco 49ers to win at +110 on the moneyline.
- Set the Bet Amount to 100
- Enter +110 under American Odds
The calculator will show:
- To Win: $110 profit
- Payout: $210 total return (including your $100 stake)
Parlay Calculator
Figuring out your returns from a winning parlay is also simple with this tool. Just follow these steps:
- Set the Bet Type to Parlay
- Enter the number of selections in the Number of Bets field.
- Enter your total stake in the Bet Amount field.
- Enter the odds for each selection in the Parlay Leg boxes
- You can use American, Decimal, or Fractional odds.
- The bet calculator will automatically display your combined Parlay Odds and your total profit in the To Win box.
Example: 4-Leg Parlay Calculator in Action
Let’s say you place a $10 parlay with the following four selections:
- NFL: 49ers to win at +110
- NBA: Celtics to cover the spread at -105
- NHL: Maple Leafs to win at +120
- Soccer: Leeds United to win at -120
In a parlay bet, your winnings from each leg roll over to the next. If all your picks win, your winnings can accumulate into a decent payout, even for small stakes. Every leg in the parlay has to win. If even one loses, the whole bet falls short.
The parlay calculator will show:
- To Win: $155.37 profit
- Payout: $165.37 total return (profit + original stake)
Implied Odds
Implied odds are just a way of showing how likely your bet is to win, but as a percentage probability instead of traditional odds.
You can use the implied probability to check if a betting line offers value. Our calculator shows the win chance as a percentage, helping you decide if the odds at online sportsbooks match your assessment.
For example:
- -150 odds = 60% chance
- +200 odds = 33.3% chance
Our bet odds calculator works this out automatically, whether you’re placing a single bet or building a parlay.
Odds Formats Explained
You can use the betting odds calculator as an odds converter, switching between American, Decimal, and Fractional odds instantly.
These are the three most common formats used in sports betting, and our tool handles all of them automatically.
Here’s how the same bet looks in each odds format:
- American Odds: +200
- Decimal Odds: 3.00
- Fractional Odds: 2/1
American Odds: Standard in the United States
- +200 means you win $200 (profit) from a $100 bet. (Total return $300)
- -120 means you need to bet $120 to win $100. (Total return $220)
Decimal Odds: Standard in Europe, Canada, and Australia.
- Shows total return per $1 staked (including your stake)
- 3.00 = $3.00 back for every $1 bet
Fractional Odds: Popular in the UK and Ireland.
- 2/1 = win $2 for every $1 staked
- 1/2 = win $1 for every $2 staked
No matter if you’re trying to calculate your bet payout, convert odds, or figure out your returns on a parlay, our betting return calculator does all the heavy lifting.
